These Terms govern your use of the Arson Theory Publishing portal ("ATLAS", the "Service"), operated by [Legal entity name] ("Arson Theory", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
ATLAS is a publishing-administration platform that lets songwriters and rights holders register compositions, manage songwriter and split information, claim live-performance royalties, and view statements and payouts. We administer and collect royalties on your behalf through our collection partners, including Word Collections and performing-rights organizations.
We administer the compositions you register and the splits defined in your catalogue. Splits are determined by your catalogue, not by individual society statements. Arson Theory retains a flat administration fee of 15% of collected royalties on controlled works; the remaining net is owed to you.
Royalties are received from societies on their own schedules. After we receive and reconcile a statement, amounts are held for a 30-day period before becoming available for payout. Payouts are then issued to the payout method on file. Holding periods, currencies, and methods may change; we will reflect current terms in the Service.
You retain all rights in your compositions and data. You grant us the limited rights necessary to register, administer, collect, account for, and pay royalties on the works you submit.
You may not submit works you do not control, misrepresent splits or ownership, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to infringe others' rights.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Royalty obligations accrued before termination survive.
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arson Theory is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited as set out in [liability cap / governing agreement]. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
